J. A. Cunningham Equipment, Inc. was founded in 1946 by Joseph A. Cunningham, Sr. The first authorized line of welding equipment given to Mr. Cunningham was Miller Electric.
Joe Cunningham remained good friends with Lars Miller, and later, after Lars’ passing, with Mrs. Elizabeth Miller as well. Joe sold so many Miller Welding Machines that Lars Miller agreed to brand machines for Cunningham Equipment. Marketed under “Welding Wholesale” and later “Weldsale” brands, these machines can still be found hard at work in many welding shops.

J. A. Cunningham Equipment earned our reputation by selling and servicing the Miller line of Welding Equipment.
Today, six decades later, J. A. Cunningham Eqpt. offers a modern full line of Capital Equipment for establishing a new shop or upgrading equipment. Yesterday, as today, J. A. Cunningham Equipment values innovation, as is demonstrated by Orange County Choppers, using Miller welding equipment on their TV show.
